College football is officially back this Saturday.
Week 0 gives us our first real look at the 2026 season, but it’s also one of the easiest weeks for bettors to get caught betting team names instead of actual value.
At Pappy’s PlayBook, I’m already breaking down the full board—quarterback situations, coaching changes, transfer-portal movement, offensive-line continuity, travel, game script and, most importantly, the betting number.
I just published a full College Football Week 0 Betting Guide explaining exactly what I’m looking for before any wager becomes official.

And college football isn’t the only action this week.
NFL Preseason Week 3 begins Thursday, and I’m also evaluating quarterback rotations, coaching intent, depth and final roster battles before determining whether anything deserves an official play.

I’m not interested in forcing bets simply because football is back.
If the matchup and price give us value, I’ll bet it.
If they don’t, I’ll pass.
If you want access to every official NFL and college football selection released by Pappy’s PlayBook, now is the time to get on board before the football weekend begins.
