My name is Pappy, and I want to personally welcome you to what I am building here.

Pappy’s PlayBook is not just another sports picks service throwing out random plays and hoping something sticks. I have been handicapping sports for 18 years, and my approach has always been built around research, discipline, patience, and value.

I handicap MLB, NFL, NHL, and college football, but right now the focus is on the MLB season — and June has been a very strong month.

That record did not happen by betting every game on the board. It came from being selective, studying the matchups, respecting the numbers, and only attacking when the edge was strong enough.

At Pappy’s PlayBook, every MLB pick is researched from multiple angles. I look at starting pitching, bullpen usage, lineup strength, recent form, weather, ballpark factors, umpire tendencies, market movement, and price value. For football and hockey, the process changes, but the standard stays the same: find the strongest opportunities and avoid forcing action.

That is what separates serious handicapping from guessing.

I do not believe in releasing picks just to create action. Some days there may be one strong play. Some days there may be a premium-rated release. Other days, the smartest move may be to pass. That discipline is part of why Pappy’s PlayBook has been profitable.
